We stand behind the work we carry out. This guarantee covers defects in our own workmanship — that is, work that fails because of how we installed or built it. It is given in addition to your statutory rights under Spanish law, which are not affected.
The guarantee period depends on the type of work:
| Type of work | Guarantee |
|---|---|
| Structural work and waterproofing | 5 years |
| General renovation and installation workmanship | 2 years |
| Painting and decorative finishes | 1 year |
| Installed equipment and appliances (pumps, boilers, consumer units, white goods) | Manufacturer's warranty; our installation covered 1 year |
The period runs from the date the work is completed.
Any equipment or appliance we install — a pump, a boiler, a consumer unit, air conditioning, kitchen appliances — is covered by the manufacturer's own warranty, not by us. We guarantee that it was installed correctly. If the device itself fails, that is a warranty claim with the manufacturer. A circuit breaker doing its job and tripping under load is normal operation, not a defect.
This guarantee assumes the property is reasonably maintained. Routine maintenance is the owner's responsibility — for example clearing drains and gutters, cleaning pool filters and skimmers, servicing pumps and boilers, and dealing promptly with any leak or damp before it spreads. Damage that results from a lack of maintenance is not covered.
If you think something we did has failed, contact us with a description and photos and we will assess it. If it is a defect in our workmanship within the guarantee period, we put it right at no charge. If the visit shows the problem is not a workmanship defect — for example wear, a maintenance issue or an equipment fault — the call-out and diagnosis are chargeable, and we will tell you the cost before carrying out any further work.

This guarantee is offered in addition to, and does not limit, your rights under Spanish law, including the warranties provided by the Building Act (LOE) for new construction where applicable.
