The Real Challenge
Renovating While You’re Away

Taking on a renovation in Spain when you live abroad is daunting — coordinating trades you can’t see, not knowing whether corners are being cut, and dreading the call that says the budget or the timeline has blown out. Most of that risk comes down to one thing: whether the person running the job is actually managing it, or just passing you between subcontractors. We run the whole thing as one team, so there’s a single point of responsibility from the first visit to the final clean.

How We Work
Start Small, Build Trust

Every job starts with a proper look at the property and an honest scope — including the things that are easy to skip until they become expensive. You get a realistic timeline and a fixed price, not an optimistic guess, plus regular photo updates so you can follow progress from wherever you are. And you don’t have to hand us a whole villa on day one: plenty of owners start with a single room or a small repair, see how we work, and bring us back for the rest.

What We Cover
From One Room to the Whole Property

We handle the full range — structural work, plumbing, electrics, kitchens and bathrooms, tiling, plastering and painting, through to terraces and pools. That means a project doesn’t get split across half a dozen contractors who blame each other when something goes wrong. Whether it’s freshening up one room or gutting and rebuilding the whole place, it’s the same team and the same standard throughout.

Questions & Answers
Villa Renovation FAQ

How much does a full villa renovation cost on the Costa Blanca?

Full renovation starts from around €800/m², though the figure depends heavily on the scope and specification. We confirm a fixed price after a site visit so there are no surprises.

Can you manage the whole renovation while I live abroad?

Yes. We fully project-manage renovations for owners who are out of the country, with regular photo updates so you can follow progress without being here.

Do I need a licence to renovate a property in Spain?

Major and structural works in Spain require a building licence (licencia de obra). We advise on what your project needs and coordinate the paperwork with your gestor or architect.

What does a full villa renovation include?

Typically structural work, plumbing, electrics, a new kitchen and bathrooms, tiling, plastering and painting, and any exterior, terrace or pool work — scoped to what your property needs.

How long does a full villa renovation take?

It depends on size and scope, but we give you a realistic timeline before starting and keep you updated throughout — we would rather quote an honest deadline than an optimistic one.

Which areas do you cover?

We work across the Costa Blanca — including Javea, Moraira, Calpe, Altea, Benidorm, La Nucia, Orihuela Costa, Torrevieja and the surrounding towns.

Do you guarantee your work?

Yes. We give a workmanship guarantee — up to 5 years on structural and waterproofing work, with shorter periods on other work — covering defects in how we carried out the job. Installed equipment carries the manufacturer’s warranty. Full terms are on our workmanship guarantee page.
