Who we are
Alita Construction operates the website alitaconstruction.com. We provide renovation, construction and project management services on the Costa Blanca, Spain. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Alita Construction.
What data we collect
We collect information that you voluntarily provide when using our calculators and contact forms:
- Contact details — name, email address, phone number, preferred contact method (WhatsApp, Telegram, email or phone)
- Calculator data — the parameters you select (area, options, toggles) and the estimated price
We also collect limited technical data automatically:
- Usage data — pages viewed, scroll depth, time on page, clicks on contact buttons
- Device information — device type (mobile/desktop), browser, operating system
- Approximate location — country and city based on IP address (we do not store your full IP address — only a one-way hash)
- Referral source — how you found us (e.g. search engine, social media, direct)
How we use your data
- To respond to your enquiry and provide you with a renovation estimate
- To contact you via your preferred method about your project
- To understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it
- To measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns
Cookies and tracking
We use two types of cookies:
- Essential — required for the site to function (session identifier, cookie consent preference). These are always active.
- Analytics and marketing — used to understand how you found us and to improve our advertising. These include Google Analytics (GA4) and Meta Pixel. They are only activated if you click "Accept all" on the cookie banner.
You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking "Cookie settings" in the page footer.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Google (Analytics) — to understand website traffic, subject to your cookie consent
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram Pixel) — to measure ad performance, subject to your cookie consent
- Telegram — lead notifications are delivered to our internal Telegram channel for fast response
- Email provider — lead notifications are also sent via email to our team
All third-party services are bound by their own privacy policies and GDPR obligations.
Data retention
We keep your contact information and project data for as long as needed to fulfil your enquiry and for up to 5 years after project completion (consistent with our warranty period). Anonymous analytics data is retained indefinitely.
Your rights (GDPR)
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict processing of your data
- Data portability — receive your data in a structured format
- Withdraw consent for analytics cookies at any time

Data security
Your data is stored on servers located in Germany (Hetzner Cloud, Nuremberg). We use encryption, access controls and regular backups to protect your information. IP addresses are hashed before storage so they cannot be reversed.
